WRRA utilises MailChimp software as it's platform for communicating with the community and facilitating bulk email messages. Unfortunately, there are a number of internet service providers (ISPs) such as iAfrica, MWeb, some company email addresses and a few others who see the This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. email address as spam. This means that your email address will be 'soft bounced' 4/5 times after which it is the 'cleaned' by MailChimp to protect your privacy.

    1. Add wrra and This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. into your contacts. This may help in the getting mail into your system or it not being treated as Spam.
    2. Have you given WRRA the correct email address ensuring that it is in the correct upper/lower case. This may be important with some mail servers.
  2. Mail is getting treated as Spam:
    1. Check the Junk or Spam folder. Note that the name of this folder varies depending upon which software you are using to read your emails.
    2. If you find an email from This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. in the Junk/Spam folder right click the email with your mouse
    3. Select the option to flag it as "not junk" or "add sender to safe list". You may first need to select an option such as "Mark" to get the above options displayed.
  3. Contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and request that "This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." be added to your allowed list. WRRA cannot do this on your behalf.
